It's funny; Centretown tonight reminds me of Malta with all the people out on the streets, families, young people. It feels benevolent.

I suddenly realized today that I'd spent a decade sort of frozen in a place where almost everyone looked & seemed the same. Shudder.

I'm sitting in a little park & thinking it's reassuring to watch people walk by of all ages, races, genders, languages, lifestyles etc.

@Naggedbycats Most of what was used to make that flavour was banned as chemical warfare, I believe. Repulsively fake-tasting & I loved it.

@michaelhaack I just love his cookbooks & memoirs, but then I'm a gay guy who likes to cook.
